Obituary for Kiki Hill
Her name was Kiki Dee and she was extraordinary. She began life in the rough world of a feral colony. Captured by a TrapNeuterRelease program at about 7 months old , she entered the shelter system and her paws were placed upon the path to adoption , and ultimately to me . She spent 4 months alone, in a small cage, surrounded by other kittens alone in their small cages , waiting. She probably didn’t even know what she was waiting for .

It was then that fortune took her paw and my hand and placed them together. On a cold November day in 2014 she became my birthday gift . And what a wonderful gift she turned out to be . For me, it was Love at First Sight. For Kiki it was Love at First Sight for my husband George . Her sweet nature won over the heart of a man who wasn’t a “cat person” , he became a “Kiki person”.

Vocal and opinionated( she was a sparkling conversationalist), gentle, playful and well behaved , Kiki was the perfect addiction to our little family. Kiki was my very best friend and I will miss her every day for the rest of my life .

Kiki, our lives were so much richer because of you. Mama and Daddy love you and will always miss you. Run free in Summerlands Sweetheart.
